1. Where are you located, and are you willing to travel?
We are primarily based in Brisbane and travel for weddings and engagement shoots. An additional fee of 0.60c per km. is charged if the location is outside the 50-km. Brisbane Radius. For interstate couples, contact us for more details.
2. What's your pricing?
Our rates and packages vary depending on several contributing factors. They will depend on the location, wedding duration, type of service, added extras, and the number of shooters. Weddings outside of the 50-km. Brisbane and Gold Coast region will require an additional travel expense that is not included in the original wedding package. What’s special about Alegna Weddings is that we can customise tailor packages for our couples. You can ‘Build Your Package’ and I’ll send a customised quote for you.
3. Do you have a second photographer?
Yes absolutely! We have an array of photographers and videographers on our books, so rest assured we can easily provide you with a second shooter. Having a second shooter allows us for a wider range of coverage and more time for drone videography and photography. On top of that, we can capture your wedding from multiple angles at once, resulting in more images for selection.
4. Do you edit all of our photos?
Of course! All of our packages will produce more or less than a hundred photos. You can pick your favourite 10, 20 or 25 images, and we will colour correct them. On top of that, they will be edited in more detail using PhotoShop ready for print. Images are delivered on USB in colour and black and white.
5. Do you provide wedding videography?
Yes, of course! Our videographers capture your wedding using high definition to 4K Sony cameras with gimbal stabilisers for a smooth motion experience. Depending on flight availability, we can also cover your wedding from above using our Mavic 4K Drone. This also comes with professional sound recording with the best audio quality possible. Our wedding videography services aim to create a short film cinematic experience that will have you reliving your day forever.
6. Do you offer engagement shoots?
Yes, we do! We have options for photography and film. You can get the best of both worlds for the ultimate experience. For a start, we will ask questions about your relationship. We find out how both of you met each other, how did the relationship blossom, and when did you know that he's or she's the one. Aside from high-quality images and videos for your personal use, we also capture your moments and edit them into a ‘Your Story’ highlight that can be shared on social media, shown at your engagement party or played at your wedding. You will receive a complimentary engagement shoot when you purchase a package that values over $3000.
7. I want to do something special. Can you capture my proposal?
Yes, we can. It's an honour for us to be a part of your special moment! With options in photo or film, we can provide support and ideas to make the engagement even more memorable. We can stay incognito to make sure that complete secrecy is upheld during filming, while we mic you up to capture every word to share and relive forever.
8. What is included in your film packages?
All of our film packages aim to create an exceptional, romantic short film that reflects your relationship together. With the option to include a 4K drone depending on your package selection, we cover all aspects of your day from the bride and groom prep to the exit at the end of the night. We professionally record the entire ceremony, extract the most memorable scenes and edit them to create a 45-sec. to 1-minute teaser, a 4 to 5-minute highlight, and a full-length film (which will depend on the duration of the event). We package and deliver the teasers and films on a flash drive enclosed in one of our beautiful presentation boxes.
9. Once we book with you, what happens next?
Let the fun begin! We can arrange a coffee date or Zoom meeting to officially meet one another and introduce you to our team who will be capturing your wedding. That’s the beauty of Alegna. You have a team of experts helping you every step of the way!
Along with your planning journey, we ask questions about the wedding prep progress, your ideal style of shots, the preferred wedding day schedule and the like. We’ll also explain what we'll do, where we’ll be, and everything we require from you to run the event as smoothly and stress-free as possible. You can always reach out to us through phone and email and can meet at any time to discuss the details. A week prior to the wedding, we can meet once more to check in with how you are and finalise at the last minute.
10. Do we have a say in the style of shots?
Absolutely! All we ask is to send us your reference photos or videos and leave the rest to us.
11. Who has copyright over the images?
The rights of the images are owned by Alegna, given that we are the original creator of the images. This permits our team to use your images for business, promotional and marketing purposes. If you wish, for any reason, to not have your photos or film shown on a public forum, please let us know as soon as possible and we will honour your request.
You also have the freedom to print, post and share all images on any platform where you see fit. In our contracts, we have a “copyright release,” which suggests that you have the rights to have your images printed by yourself or anywhere of your choosing.
12. How does the album design process work?
Once your images are ready for selection, we will send you a photo with instructions on how to select the images you want to include in your album. From there, we will design the album and send you a review within approximately seven working days.
13. How long does it take to receive our products and photographs/film?
Within 48-72 hours of your wedding, you will receive a link of your colour corrected images online. Then once you've chosen the number of images your package allows for more detailed editing and album design, it will take approximately 4-5 weeks to receive your products and photos. For film packages, please allow approximately 7-8 weeks.
14. What are your payment terms and conditions?
A non-refundable 25% deposit is required on the approval of quote to secure your booking and wedding date. Payments can be made in four instalments, with the last instalment due seven days prior to the wedding day. Our team will send you reminders of your upcoming payments for a seamless, stress-free transaction.
15. If I need to cancel my wedding, can I receive a refund?
Unfortunately, the deposit and all payments are non-refundable. As soon as you sign your agreement with us, we exclusively hold that date and give all our attention and resources to you. However, in the event of an unforeseen circumstance such as COVID, death or separation, we will be more than happy to refund all monies paid outside of the deposit.
16. If our day is running behind, will you stay later than scheduled?
Yes, we will! We completely understand that not all things go according to plan and may require additional time to capture everything for the day. We cater this with an additional fee of $150 per hour and will be invoiced to you on the following day.
